Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Yoel Barzana kicked off to start the match. Hector Hudobro's late challenge caught a Quinonez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Hudobro helped the player get up and apologised. When Vela Mieses came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Colaya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vela Mieses couldn't finish the play. Hector Hudobro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fleitas Ayarza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Quinonez got a freekick which was hit by Armando Llorengoz. After having played for 22 minutes, Hector Hudobro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Hudobro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Quinonez's Rosero Padolles got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Murillo Bolivar made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Rocio Alvarez sent off a good shot on target. Hector Hudobro struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Fleitas Ayarza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colaya. The audience was convinced that Hector Hudobro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fleitas Ayarza was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Colaya's Murillo Bolivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yoel Barzana in the 41st minute of play. Murillo Bolivar made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Rocio Alvarez sent off a good shot on target. Colaya's Murillo Bolivar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Colaya from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Colaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quinonez the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Llorengoz in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murillo Bolivar saved Colaya from getting behind. If Vela Mieses had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Quinonez booed when Colaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Olmeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Yoel Barzana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Bolivar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vela Mieses fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fleitas Ayarza having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Quinonez's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Hudobro came free, but Fleitas Ayarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Hector Hudobro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fleitas Ayarza.
