Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Victoriano Hergueta got the match started through his kick off. Vitin Fabregas charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitin Fabregas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vitin Fabregas hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Hergueta in the 9th minute of play forced Chisalata SC's goalkeeper Quintana Rioseras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Chisalata SC's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Hergueta came free, but Quintana Rioseras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Becerril in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Villaquiran saved Mariquita FC from getting behind. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chisalata SC's goalkeeper Quintana Rioseras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Mariquita FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Martin Neila fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Camilo Becerril took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Guillermo Villaquiran to make any attempt to save it. Martin Neila took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillermo Villaquiran. Guillermo Villaquiran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Camilo Becerril fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Villaquiran having to interfere. Martin Neila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Guillermo Villaquiran made a huge save. Arnoldo Notes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintana Rioseras having to interfere. Quintana Rioseras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Hergueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 45 minutes, Martin Neila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chisalata SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Neila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Becerril was the one to do the kick off. If Victoriano Hergueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Martin Neila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Villaquiran was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Martin Neila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Guillermo Villaquiran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Camilo Becerril shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Villaquiran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Hergueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Quintana Rioseras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victoriano Hergueta in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quintana Rioseras saved Chisalata SC from getting behind. Quintana Rioseras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Hergueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Hergueta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quintana Rioseras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Guillermo Villaquiran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Becerril recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Neila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillermo Villaquiran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Camilo Becerril fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Villaquiran having to interfere. Camilo Becerril received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Guillermo Villaquiran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chisalata SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mariquita FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
