Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yépez Mancebo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Perdida's Wellington Castaosa was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 3rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 6th minute Wellington Castaosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Obana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Geovanny Irizar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chischiguin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perdida the free kick. The supporters of Perdida booed when Chischiguin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanny Irizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Persol hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Perdida's Eduardo Cotan got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Chischiguin's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Gomara came free, but Vasco Obana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yépez Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Resco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Sandro Resco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yépez Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasco Obana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 79 in the game by Arias Sierralta from a close distance when the talented Sandro Resco managed to make a qualified save. Perdida's players were relieved. Vasco Obana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Castaosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Vasco Obana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Cotan in the 82nd minute of play. Chischiguin's Vasco Obana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Cotan in the 88th minute of play. In the 98th minute of the match Ramiro Barrachina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vasco Obana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Chischiguin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
