CD Chibunga's Héctor Peñaranda got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samaniego Belmonte made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Venerando Martel sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Venerando Martel got free with Samaniego Belmonte in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29thth minute of the game Rodolfo Armijo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Chibunga's Samaniego Belmonte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CD Angelita's Rodolfo Armijo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Chatruc Lecanda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Chibunga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Angelita the free kick. Venerando Martel in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Samaniego Belmonte, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. During the 35th minute of the match Chatruc Lecanda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Chatruc Lecanda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 35 played minutes CD Chibunga got a freekick which was hit by Chatruc Lecanda. When Venerando Martel came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the CD Angelita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venerando Martel couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Angelita's goalkeeper Zilar Aranda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Juan-Pablo Tablada came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the CD Chibunga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan-Pablo Tablada couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, CD Chibunga's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Venerando Martel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Armijo made the kick off in the second half. If Venerando Martel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 54 minutes of play, CD Angelita's Rodolfo Armijo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samaniego Belmonte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Venerando Martel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Samaniego Belmonte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Armijo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Samaniego Belmonte came out of the goal and Rodolfo Armijo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samaniego Belmonte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Armijo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Héctor Peñaranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zilar Aranda having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Venerando Martel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Angelita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venerando Martel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samaniego Belmonte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venerando Martel in the 95th minute of the match. CD Angelita were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CD Chibunga for a fine match.
