Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Xian Balaunde got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guayquichuma SC's goalkeeper Bran Marban, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Blandón Muniz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some careless play in the CD Monteserin defense, Xaven Camacho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gomez Trifol. The CD Monteserin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gomez Trifol should have stopped the shot. If Xian Balaunde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bran Marban was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Blandón Muniz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Xaven Camacho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Monteserin's Gomez Trifol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guayquichuma SC's Klimowitz Santoni suffered a sore foot after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 26 played minutes CD Monteserin got a freekick which was hit by Gomez Morera. Gomez Trifol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venceslao Severino in the 27th minute of play. Christian Villasana kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Rosario Lizanein charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosario Lizanein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Rosario Lizanein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CD Monteserin's Blandón Muniz got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xaven Camacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gomez Trifol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Venceslao Severino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Venceslao Severino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guayquichuma SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Venceslao Severino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gomez Trifol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venceslao Severino to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in CD Monteserin's zone, Venceslao Severino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gomez Trifol came out of the goal and Venceslao Severino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Blandón Muniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Monteserin's supporters rose to their feet, but Blandón Muniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bran Marban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gomez Morera in the 70th minute of play forced Guayquichuma SC's goalkeeper Bran Marban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Venceslao Severino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blandón Muniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bran Marban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venceslao Severino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Gomez Trifol 79 minutes into the match. Xian Balaunde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bran Marban having to interfere. Xian Balaunde hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Guayquichuma SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
