Garcia Fontecavada hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Veto Berrahondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burbano Tuñon having to interfere. Xzavier Lavandera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xzavier Lavandera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 12 minutes, Cruz Victorero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pulpito FC and the Gapal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Gapal. Vachon Iza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Burbano Tuñon. 0-1. A collision led to Gapal getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dani Gurbista hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Lisandro Provencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gian-Carlo Says came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Gapal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gian-Carlo Says couldn't finish the play. Francisco Quetara kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Gapal's goalkeeper Geovanny Dozal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xzavier Lavandera. Burbano Tuñon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gian-Carlo Says, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Francisco Quetara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Burbano Tuñon. Pulpito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Quetara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

The wind increased when Lisandro Provencio made the kick off in the second half. Gian-Carlo Says received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Burbano Tuñon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Provencio in the 54th minute of play forced Gapal's goalkeeper Geovanny Dozal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Veto Berrahondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burbano Tuñon having to interfere. Burbano Tuñon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Veto Berrahondo in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gian-Carlo Says in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Burbano Tuñon saved Pulpito FC from getting behind. Burbano Tuñon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gian-Carlo Says in the 75th minute of play. Pulpito FC's Burbano Tuñon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gian-Carlo Says in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Gian-Carlo Says shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burbano Tuñon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veto Berrahondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Gapal getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Teofilio Baron hit a great ball. Burbano Tuñon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gian-Carlo Says in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Teofilio Baron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gapal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilio Baron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Vachon Iza fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gapal's protests and gave Vachon Iza a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pulpito FC booed when Gapal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vachon Iza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gapal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
