Gapal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Pastavi the free kick. After 2 played minutes Gapal got a freekick which was hit by Teofilio Baron. UD Pastavi's Jonathan Rendon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gapal. In the 10th match minute, Gapal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dani Gurbista to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Gian-Carlo Says's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xayvion Romarote was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Xayvion Romarote showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gian-Carlo Says in the 20th minute of the match. Veto Berrahondo struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Xayvion Romarote didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gapal. After a rather tough play, UD Pastavi's Segundo Michel got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Veto Berrahondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Pastavi's Xayvion Romarote was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gian-Carlo Says sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gapal's Teofilio Baron got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Teofilio Baron off the ground. In the 37th match minute, Gapal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilio Baron to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, UD Pastavi's Arévalo Albino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 46 minutes into the match, UD Pastavi's goal looked a bit too open when Veto Berrahondo came free, but Xayvion Romarote reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Gapal's Francisco Quetara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xayvion Romarote made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Gapal's goal looked a bit too open when Perlaza Cavallosa came free, but Geovanny Dozal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arévalo Albino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Perlaza Cavallosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Pastavi's supporters rose to their feet, but Perlaza Cavallosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovanny Dozal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Francisco Quetara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xayvion Romarote made an important save on a dangerous shot by Veto Berrahondo in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Veto Berrahondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gapal's supporters rose to their feet, but Veto Berrahondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xayvion Romarote breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to UD Pastavi getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Juan Regules hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in UD Pastavi's zone, Veto Berrahondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xayvion Romarote came out of the goal and Veto Berrahondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gapal's Geovanny Dozal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arévalo Albino in the 79th minute of play. In the 94th minute Arévalo Albino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanny Dozal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veto Berrahondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xayvion Romarote having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gapal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
