Moises Alceda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Guerrón Contera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guerrón Contera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Alceda in the 21st minute of the match. Elkin Olazarra charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elkin Olazarra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elkin Olazarra hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Abel Cembraña was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Puntazanja SC's Pinto Zuriarrain got a free kick in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Llorden in the 31st minute of play forced Puntazanja SC's goalkeeper Iván Figueruela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Egaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guerrón Contera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Alceda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 38 minutes, Carlos Egaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puntazanja SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Egaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puntazanja SC's goalkeeper Iván Figueruela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Espinola Septiem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iván Figueruela having to interfere. Eugenio Durango kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Alceda was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Pichangal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Alceda came free, but Guerrón Contera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Cembraña kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Espinola Septiem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. One of Puntazanja SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pichangal FC:s goal. Puntazanja SC:s Iván Figueruela showed great skill when he stopped Abel Cembraña:s penalty. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pichangal FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
