But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joffre Castells couldn't finish the play. Juan-Carlos Bolaños showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Benegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Rodriguez Felipez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan-Carlos Bolaños saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodriguez Felipez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pinto Massana kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Diaz Caneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodriguez Felipez to strike the kick off in the second half. When Zanzari SC's Nicolás Benegas in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cumbicus Miguelez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricart Jordana in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, one of Zanzari SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 90th minute, Insua Ruelas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match Miguel Tejo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan-Carlos Bolaños skillfully saved the ball. In the 94th minute, Rodriguez Felipez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zanzari SC's Cumbicus Miguelez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joffre Castells in the 96th minute of play. Cumbicus Miguelez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricart Jordana in the 98th minute of the match. CD Embarcadero's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
