Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Freddy Costales started the match with the kick off. 15 minutes into the game, Freddy Costales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Duarte Ochoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, CD Canelos's Nicolás Horquizar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duarte Ochoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Freddy Costales came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the CD Canelos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Costales couldn't finish the play. Duarte Ochoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Costales in the 27th minute of play. When CD Canelos's Freddy Costales in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cayagama FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Cayagama FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Villafuerte Outon hit a great ball. Duarte Ochoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolás Horquizar in the 38th minute. Cayagama FC's Evelio Robleda got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Noriega Lecuna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Campos Trasviña, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Nicolás Horquizar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Duarte Ochoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evelio Robleda to make the kick off. Nicolás Horquizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Ochoa having to interfere. With a little luck, CD Canelos's Noriega Lecuna got control of the ball when Campos Trasviña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Campos Trasviña's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Noriega Lecuna skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Duarte Ochoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Costales, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Sebastian Idiaquez hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the game, Angelo Rapado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cayagama FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Canelos the free kick. In the 74th minute, Angelo Rapado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Nicolás Horquizar notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Cayagama FC's Duarte Ochoa. Duarte Ochoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Cayagama FC's zone, Nicolás Horquizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Ochoa came out of the goal and Nicolás Horquizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, CD Canelos's Armando Michelena got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Villafuerte Outon fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cayagama FC's protests and gave Villafuerte Outon a yellow card for diving instead. Evelio Robleda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CD Canelos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cayagama FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
