The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Facundo Monzon to make the kick off. Juan Jordana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Monzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Corazon SC booed when UD Baqueria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Maldonado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Jordana acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Danny Courel. Félix Canton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Jordana having to make a save. Erick Cimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanny Artechevezuen, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Facundo Monzon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Jordana. UD Baqueria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Facundo Monzon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Geovanny Artechevezuen managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Baqueria's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovanny Artechevezuen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erick Cimas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timoteo Sedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. The Corazon SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
