After 3 minutes, Desiderio Luzano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Cuscudoma and the UD Colaisaca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodrigo Bascones's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zuhaitz Nuñez firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of UD Colaisaca booed when UD Cuscudoma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Luzano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, UD Colaisaca's Claudio Valero tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. UD Cuscudoma's Zuhaitz Nuñez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save UD Cuscudoma from getting a goal against them. León Barbaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Xamin Baro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernan Zumaya during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The long shot by Facundo Arona in the 62nd minute really tested Xamin Baro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Zuhaitz Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Cordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Bascones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, UD Cuscudoma's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Bascones came free, but Zuhaitz Nuñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Cordon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zuhaitz Nuñez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. UD Cuscudoma had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
