Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marin Vendrell got the match started through his kick off. Xulio Carmenes struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Espinoza Muzquiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cohambi SC. When Xamin Villagran fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cohambi SC's protests and gave Xamin Villagran a yellow card for diving instead. Xamin Villagran hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Corozo Collante took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Espinoza Muzquiz. Espinoza Muzquiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Palacios FC's Espinoza Muzquiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Palacios FC from getting a goal against them. Erwin Binel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erwin Binel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Cohambi SC got a freekick which was hit by Xamin Villagran. In the 33rd minute, Estevez Esterina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palacios FC's Javier Corbella got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Javier Corbella notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cohambi SC's Tyrone Bonet. Tyrone Bonet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Corozo Collante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Espinoza Muzquiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Corozo Collante came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Cohambi SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corozo Collante couldn't finish the play. Jairón Ugia hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Javier Corbella to strike the kick off in the second half. If Corozo Collante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Palacios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Corozo Collante came free, but Espinoza Muzquiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Palacios FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
