In the 6th match minute, UD Colaisaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Cordon to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Bascones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the game, Marlon Sabino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xamin Baro. Marlon Sabino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Erwin Binel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Javier Corbella in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xamin Baro saved UD Colaisaca from getting behind. In the 23rd match minute, UD Colaisaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Cabezas to maneuver through the defense. After 28th play minutes Rodrigo Bascones shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Espinoza Muzquiz and just under the crossbar into goal. Emiliano Cordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Espinoza Muzquiz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Palacios FC's zone, Emiliano Cordon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Espinoza Muzquiz came out of the goal and Emiliano Cordon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rodrigo Bascones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th match minute, Palacios FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Olave to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Valero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Espinoza Muzquiz. Palacios FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Cordon to strike the kick off in the second half. Palacios FC's Erwin Binel got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 played minutes UD Colaisaca got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Arnao. 56 minutes into the game, Jairón Ugia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palacios FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Colaisaca the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Palacios FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairón Ugia to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Bascones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Bascones got free with Espinoza Muzquiz in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marlon Sabino kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Javier Corbella came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Palacios FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Corbella couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Rodrigo Bascones managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Colaisaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Bascones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Espinoza Muzquiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Binel in the 78th minute of play forced UD Colaisaca's goalkeeper Xamin Baro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Corbella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xamin Baro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Palacios FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Corbella to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Emiliano Cordon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Espinoza Muzquiz. The goal made the score 2-2. Roger Olave's late challenge caught a UD Colaisaca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Olave helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Palacios FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Roger Olave hit a great ball. If Emiliano Cordon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Javier Corbella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xamin Baro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
