Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ascencio Monteserin got the match started through his kick off. After 6th play minutes Unai Calon shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Rafael Bardeci and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Engabao booed when Azaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubarna Bradi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Unai Calon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azaya's Rafael Bardeci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Somarriba in the 12th minute of play. Ascencio Monteserin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Azaya's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Roberto Somarriba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rafael Bardeci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ximenes Carasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ascencio Monteserin in the 24th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Unai Calon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilmar Urtueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ximenes Carasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Ascencio Monteserin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Somarriba was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Unai Calon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Engabao's supporters rose to their feet, but Unai Calon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Bardeci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 53 minutes, Federico Elvira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azaya and the Engabao players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Federico Elvira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Roberto Somarriba came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Engabao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Somarriba couldn't finish the play. Unai Calon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Unai Calon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ximenes Carasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ascencio Monteserin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ximenes Carasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Urtueta in the 61st minute of the match. When Azaya's Ascencio Monteserin in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Engabao's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Unai Calon in the 69th minute of play forced Azaya's goalkeeper Rafael Bardeci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilmar Urtueta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ximenes Carasa having to make a save. Polo Viso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Bardeci having to interfere. Unai Calon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Federico Elvira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Engabao supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Engabao would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
