When Checa's Braulio Antigua in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cacarrumi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30th minute, Juan-Pablo Corral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, one of Checa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Checa. Rosero Vozmediano went to the wrong direction when Garcés Huidobro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Rosero Vozmediano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ugutz Zamanillo went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ysmael Cemborain charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ysmael Cemborain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cacarrumi's Ysmael Cemborain got a free kick in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ugutz Zamanillo to make the kick off. José Umpanera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosero Vozmediano having to interfere. If José Umpanera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When José Umpanera came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Cacarrumi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Umpanera couldn't finish the play.
