After 25 minutes of play, UD Puyunuma's Hernández Prada made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferrer Muela was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Zamora Buenahora got free with Juan-Carlos Vianes in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in UD Andon's zone, Hernández Prada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferrer Muela came out of the goal and Hernández Prada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xuban Rial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferrer Muela having to interfere. Ferrer Muela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernández Prada, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Zamora Buenahora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Carlos Vianes having to interfere. If Lorenzo Pernia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernández Prada was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of UD Andon booed when UD Puyunuma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xuban Rial didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Xuban Rial notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of UD Andon's Ferrer Muela. Ferrer Muela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xuban Rial couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Pernia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Juan-Carlos Vianes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of UD Puyunuma booed when UD Andon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. López Gallegos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute of the match, De-la-Cruz Ucieda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferrer Muela saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The UD Andon fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UD Puyunuma were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
