The supporters of Opar SC booed when CD Palopamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Gante didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Zeruko Martin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Diaz Azailla came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Palopamba's Gonzalo Griego. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Griego quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 58 minutes, Gonzalo Griego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Palopamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Griego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th match minute, Opar SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramírez Paradelo to maneuver through the defense. Xzaver Castellvi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes, Checa Sordo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Palopamba and the Opar SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, CD Palopamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Checa Sordo to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Gonzalo Griego in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Zeruko Martin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominguez Valbas having to interfere. When Ramírez Paradelo fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Opar SC's protests and gave Ramírez Paradelo a yellow card for diving instead. Ramírez Paradelo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Diaz Azailla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xzaver Castellvi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Reasco Millan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Zeruko Martin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Opar SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Opar SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
