Roman Rivacoba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Joaquin Govelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Sanabria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Gualatan SC's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Cepeda came free, but Maximo Sanabria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Richard Cepeda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonatan Olaeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Maximo Sanabria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Roman Rivacoba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Govelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Rivacoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zenaido Intriago was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UD Pucallpa! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonatan Olaeta to strike the kick off in the second half. Roman Rivacoba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Govelo having to interfere. Diego Izuzquiza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Govelo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joaquin Govelo made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Diego Izuzquiza sent off a good shot on target. Joaquin Govelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Rivacoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximo Sanabria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Olaeta in the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gualatan SC's Mendoza Arandoja got a free kick in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Jama Gao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Pucallpa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gualatan SC the free kick. Jonatan Olaeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Roman Rivacoba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Govelo was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Vasco Nieto kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Xorxe Gaviña fired a really elegant long shot, but Joaquin Govelo threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Diego Izuzquiza took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Govelo. Joaquin Govelo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. UD Pucallpa's Joaquin Govelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Rivacoba in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Gualatan SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xorxe Gaviña to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to UD Pucallpa getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Carnero Ugia hit a great ball. Joaquin Govelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Rivacoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
