Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paredes Romo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alberto Ladrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Mirabal having to interfere. Celso Mirabal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Cosio in the 9th minute of the match. Gum FC's Xines Chandivilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paredes Romo in the 11th minute of play. Alberto Ladrada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Mirabal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Cosio in the 14th minute of play. Gum FC's Xines Chandivilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paredes Romo in the 17th minute of play. Ismael Cosio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Mirabal having to interfere. Guabisay's Celso Mirabal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Guabisay from getting a goal against them. Xzaiver Oñate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xines Chandivilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xzaiver Oñate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Guabisay's Maximiliano Marchamalo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Gum FC were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Guabisay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Cucurull took the corner. The corner ended in Joel Cucurull almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guabisay's Celso Mirabal did a great save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ismael Cosio to make the kick off. Roger Ribera hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Guabisay's Xzaiver Oñate got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Ismael Cosio made a precise shot to the right of Celso Mirabal. Guabisay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 57th match minute, Gum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Ladrada to maneuver through the defense. Xines Chandivilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xzaiver Oñate in the 58th minute. Ismael Cosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Celso Mirabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Ribera kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Guabisay's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Cosio came free, but Celso Mirabal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Cosio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Mirabal having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Guabisay's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Cosio came free, but Celso Mirabal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xines Chandivilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paredes Romo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Guabisay's zone, Ismael Cosio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Mirabal came out of the goal and Ismael Cosio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the game, Ayoví Pro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guabisay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gum FC the free kick. A collision led to Guabisay getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ayoví Pro hit a great ball.
