In the 2nd match minute, Zhipta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ordóñez Barra to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the match, Zhipta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Paredes Romo came free, but Monge Cueli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xzaiver Oñate in the 7th minute of play forced Zhipta SC's goalkeeper Monge Cueli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Paredes Romo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Monge Cueli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th minute, Oswaldo Yribarren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celso Mirabal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Cero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Mirabal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xelo Persol's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Oswaldo Yribarren took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso Mirabal. Celso Mirabal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alfonso Amondo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Monge Cueli. Zhipta SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Guabisay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Ribera to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Zhipta SC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Xzavion Ansures hit a great ball. When Ordóñez Barra fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zhipta SC's protests and gave Ordóñez Barra a yellow card for diving instead. Xzaiver Oñate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Monge Cueli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monge Cueli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paredes Romo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Xzaiver Oñate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes Zhipta SC got a freekick which was hit by Justavino Garival. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Maximiliano Marchamalo charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Marchamalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Guabisay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Marchamalo. Zhipta SC's Monge Cueli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Zhipta SC from getting a goal against them. Zhipta SC's Monge Cueli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paredes Romo in the 73rd minute of play. Paredes Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monge Cueli having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Zhipta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xzavion Ansures to maneuver through the defense. Xzaiver Oñate who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Monge Cueli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xelo Persol in the 84th minute of play forced Guabisay's goalkeeper Celso Mirabal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Guabisay's Maximiliano Marchamalo got a free kick in the 86th minute. Justavino Garival was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Xelo Persol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paredes Romo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Ordóñez Barra kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
