When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martinez Septien made a kick off. A collision led to UD Beldaca getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. UD Beldaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Víctor Larez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Campos Villodas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The UD Beldaca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing UD Beldaca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
