Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rafael Goxenola made the kick off which started today's match. After 7 minutes, Marcelo Val mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gima FC and the Canales players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Marcelo Val hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Goxenola in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Caro saved Canales from getting behind. The supporters of Gima FC booed when Canales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Zalaeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Campos Paniagua in the 20th minute of play forced Canales's goalkeeper Simon Caro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bran Elicegui fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canales's protests and gave Bran Elicegui a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Bran Elicegui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Bratuti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Simon Caro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rafael Goxenola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canales's goalkeeper Simon Caro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Canales's Simon Caro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Bratuti in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Burbano Muñoa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erwin Acebal. The goal made the score 1-0. Erwin Acebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burbano Muñoa in the 39th minute of play. Marcelo Val got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Gima FC's Marcelo Val got a free kick in the 41st minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Burbano Muñoa was the one to do the kick off. Pascual Usel's late challenge caught a Gima FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Usel helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Canales got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Usel. A collision led to Gima FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Rolando Carnicero hit a great ball. Gerardo Bratuti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gima FC's goalkeeper Erwin Acebal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Campos Paniagua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Campos Paniagua hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Pascual Usel kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Lopez Bello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Caro was a little too slow when Gerardo Bratuti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 2-1. Burbano Muñoa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Lopez Bello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Burbano Muñoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Canales support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
