Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to UD Punguy getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Mauro Pellon hit a great ball. Roger Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costante Olabarrieta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Maldonado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, one of UD Punguy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UD Punguy. Calisto Haza came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Bajana's Espinoza Ascazua. But to his dismay, Espinoza Ascazua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eduardo Hinojos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Costante Olabarrieta made a huge save. Eduardo Hinojos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Costante Olabarrieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Roger Maldonado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Punguy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Maldonado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costante Olabarrieta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Hinojos in the 20th minute. Costante Olabarrieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Maldonado, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Roger Maldonado kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in UD Punguy's zone, Claudio Font stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calisto Haza came out of the goal and Claudio Font tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Pellon's late challenge caught a CD Bajana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Pellon helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Espinoza Ascazua shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for UD Punguy's Calisto Haza to catch but Espinoza Ascazua was lucky. It became 0-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Calisto Haza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valencia Buyeres in the 37th minute of play. Mauro Pellon was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 39 played minutes UD Punguy got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Pellon. After some careless play in the CD Bajana defense, Eduardo Hinojos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Costante Olabarrieta. The CD Bajana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costante Olabarrieta should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Roger Maldonado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Lucio Montiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the game, Roger Maldonado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Punguy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Bajana the free kick. After a rather tough play, UD Punguy's Roger Maldonado got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Valencia Buyeres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of UD Punguy booed when CD Bajana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Espínola Cubian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute of the match Alex Lastra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Costante Olabarrieta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Valencia Buyeres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Bajana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valencia Buyeres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Montiano got free with Calisto Haza in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, UD Punguy's Calisto Haza got control of the ball when Lucio Montiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Eduardo Hinojos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of CD Bajana booed when UD Punguy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sarralde didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Eduardo Hinojos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Espínola Cubian might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Calisto Haza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Espínola Cubian ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, UD Punguy's Calisto Haza got control of the ball when Lucio Montiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Calisto Haza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valencia Buyeres in the 88th minute of play. Claudio Font kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Roger Maldonado got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The UD Punguy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CD Bajana's performance. The match ended with a win for CD Bajana.
