In the 8th minute, Valencia Buyeres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Valencia Buyeres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. After 19 minutes, Valencia Buyeres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Bajana and the UD Pechiche players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of UD Pechiche booed when CD Bajana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valencia Buyeres didn't get a good kick on the ball. CD Bajana's Costante Olabarrieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Ester in the 20th minute of play. Tercero Gracia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tercero Gracia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Costante Olabarrieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tercero Gracia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Costante Olabarrieta made a huge save. UD Pechiche's Zambrano Prados played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valencia Buyeres in the 37th minute of play. Valencia Buyeres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zambrano Prados having to interfere. In the 41stth minute of the game Valencia Buyeres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Pechiche's Zambrano Prados was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Tercero Gracia managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Pechiche's supporters rose to their feet, but Tercero Gracia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costante Olabarrieta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in CD Bajana's zone, Leonardo Ester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costante Olabarrieta came out of the goal and Leonardo Ester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valencia Buyeres was the one to do the kick off. Leonardo Ester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tercero Gracia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Costante Olabarrieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tercero Gracia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Costante Olabarrieta was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Zambrano Prados made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Lucio Montiano sent off a good shot on target. Costante Olabarrieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Ester in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Lucio Montiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uriel Villares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Costante Olabarrieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Claudio Font fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Bajana's protests and gave Claudio Font a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CD Bajana's Claudio Font got a free kick in the 97th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
