Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yépez Llerena started the match with the kick off. Xinaro Jaimes scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cortez Bazarra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xantalen Tarapiella hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Roman Rulan hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gallata's zone, Xinaro Jaimes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cortez Bazarra came out of the goal and Xinaro Jaimes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cortez Bazarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yépez Llerena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cortez Bazarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yépez Llerena, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 24th minute, Bruno Flamenco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Gallata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Miño to maneuver through the defense. Chico Lojo charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chico Lojo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guatagshun fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Gallata a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ugutz Peñas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guatagshun's Ubelteso Cachurro. 1-1. After having played for 37 minutes, Yépez Llerena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guatagshun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yépez Llerena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Flamenco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubelteso Cachurro having to interfere. Klimowicz Sominaya's late challenge caught a Gallata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klimowicz Sominaya helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Guatagshun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klimowicz Sominaya to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Virila Armas made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Guatagshun booed when Gallata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Barron didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guatagshun's goalkeeper Ubelteso Cachurro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Guatagshun's Yépez Llerena got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Xinaro Jaimes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Roman Rulan fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gallata's protests and gave Roman Rulan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, Gallata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Rulan to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Bruno Flamenco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Flamenco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ubelteso Cachurro having to make a save. Bruno Flamenco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubelteso Cachurro having to interfere. Virila Armas might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubelteso Cachurro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virila Armas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guatagshun's goalkeeper Ubelteso Cachurro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yépez Llerena in the 81st minute of play forced Gallata's goalkeeper Cortez Bazarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Flamenco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubelteso Cachurro having to interfere. If Xinaro Jaimes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Yépez Llerena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cortez Bazarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
