Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Yépez Llerena got the match started through his kick off. Patricio Cañucar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ubelteso Cachurro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Obregón Tolosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubelteso Cachurro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Cañucar in the 24th minute of play forced Guatagshun's goalkeeper Ubelteso Cachurro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos-Armando Tornero hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Patricio Cañucar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corozo Rivera made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Xinaro Jaimes sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Corozo Rivera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of UD Guantucjalo booed when Guatagshun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xantalen Tarapiella didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, UD Guantucjalo's Reasco Banzo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Yépez Llerena struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Corozo Rivera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guatagshun. When Guatagshun's Yépez Llerena in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UD Guantucjalo's goalie prevented a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Cañucar to make the kick off. Udalaitz Carrizo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Christobal Leyva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Obregón Tolosa struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ubelteso Cachurro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Guantucjalo. Yépez Llerena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Udalaitz Carrizo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Yépez Llerena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubelteso Cachurro came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Guantucjalo's Patricio Cañucar. But to his dismay, Patricio Cañucar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ubelteso Cachurro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. When Patricio Cañucar came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the UD Guantucjalo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Cañucar couldn't finish the play. When UD Guantucjalo's Patricio Cañucar in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guatagshun's goalie prevented a goal. After 79 minutes of play, Guatagshun's Xinaro Jaimes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corozo Rivera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85thth minute of the game Yépez Llerena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Guantucjalo's Corozo Rivera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Patricio Cañucar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guatagshun's Ubelteso Cachurro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patricio Cañucar's late challenge caught a Guatagshun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Cañucar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, UD Guantucjalo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Cañucar to maneuver through the defense. Xinaro Jaimes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Guantucjalo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
