Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hernando Costales kicked off to start the match. Alfonso Vidarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Asomana getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Santos Cerecedo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Alfonso Vidarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asomana's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Vidarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salomon Pereta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes Ramishitana got a freekick which was hit by Gomez Dalaje. 21 minutes into the match, Asomana's Santos Cerecedo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Alfonso Vidarte came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Asomana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Vidarte couldn't finish the play. When Xavian Sanjuan fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ramishitana's protests and gave Xavian Sanjuan a yellow card for diving instead. Xavian Sanjuan kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Ramishitana got a freekick which was hit by Gomez Dalaje. Santos Cerecedo, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ramishitana's zone, Alfonso Vidarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salomon Pereta came out of the goal and Alfonso Vidarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Miguel Rieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ramishitana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Rieta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Velis to make the kick off. Rodrigo Mendaña kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Rodrigo Velis came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Asomana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Velis couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Vidarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salomon Pereta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Yago Mondrevilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernando Costales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Mendaña kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Víctor Tul sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yago Mondrevilla skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ramishitana's zone, Rodrigo Velis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salomon Pereta came out of the goal and Rodrigo Velis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hernando Costales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yago Mondrevilla having to interfere. Hernando Costales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Yago Mondrevilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asomana's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
