Julian Chinchilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urdaspal Astoreca in the 4th minute of play. Urdaspal Astoreca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Julian Chinchilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Quillalli FC booed when Imbaya SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quiróz Regaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Xove Cascallana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Chinchilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sotomayor Guismonde went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Imbaya SC's Julian Chinchilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotomayor Guismonde in the 17th minute of play. Xove Cascallana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Vilson Urrejola made a huge save. In the 20th match minute, Quillalli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mina Folch to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Roldan Maluenda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Imbaya SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xurdin Jibaja in the 24th minute. The corner ended in Xurdin Jibaja almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Quillalli FC's Vilson Urrejola did a great save. Xove Cascallana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilson Urrejola having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Xurdin Jibaja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imbaya SC and the Quillalli FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Imbaya SC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Xurdin Jibaja hit a great ball. Julian Chinchilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotomayor Guismonde in the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Quillalli FC's zone, Xove Cascallana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilson Urrejola came out of the goal and Xove Cascallana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Omar Bravain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quillalli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Bravain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Urdaspal Astoreca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Julian Chinchilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roldan Maluenda to make the kick off. Vilson Urrejola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xove Cascallana, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Julian Chinchilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotomayor Guismonde in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Imbaya SC's Xove Cascallana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vilson Urrejola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Vilson Urrejola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roldan Maluenda, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Quillalli FC's Mina Folch got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 69 played minutes Quillalli FC got a freekick which was hit by Mina Folch. In the 73rd minute, Omar Bravain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Xove Cascallana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilson Urrejola was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Quillalli FC's Omar Bravain got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 80 played minutes, Imbaya SC's Xurdin Jibaja shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vilson Urrejola came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Imbaya SC reached it. Omar Bravain hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Quillalli FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
