Julian Chinchilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asencio Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Quiróz Regaña hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The supporters of Imbaya SC booed when Atar SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position.
