The Huamanqui SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 21 played minutes CD Papaloma got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Bue. Zuhaitz Tejerina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xabel Berlanga having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ortiz Barrantes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xabel Berlanga was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. CD Papaloma's Ortiz Barrantes got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Huamanqui SC got a freekick which was hit by Valentine Pinillas. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Papaloma's goalkeeper Xepe Vila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Huamanqui SC's goalkeeper Xabel Berlanga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zuhaitz Tejerina.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo-Enrique Mostaza was the one to do the kick off. Leonardo Miro struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Xabel Berlanga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Papaloma. Pablo-Enrique Mostaza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xepe Vila having to make a save. Huamanqui SC's Rodolfo Bustillos got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CD Papaloma's Weterio Cabanela got a free kick in the 71st minute. Zuhaitz Tejerina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ortiz Barrantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Bustillos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Xepe Vila made a huge save. If Zuhaitz Tejerina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zuhaitz Tejerina in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xabel Berlanga saved Huamanqui SC from getting behind. Zuhaitz Tejerina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xabel Berlanga having to interfere. When Ortiz Barrantes came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the CD Papaloma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ortiz Barrantes couldn't finish the play.
