After a rather tough play, Tumbez's Libertad Solsona got a free kick in the 12th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Tumbez's Eugenio Paternina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zuzen Villalon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Tapialpamba getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Xian Morras hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Paz Cumbres sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Zuzen Villalon threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Paz Cumbres this time. Yader Temiño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Xizavier Escamilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Paternina in the 67th minute of play forced Tapialpamba's goalkeeper Zuzen Villalon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Abeijon in the 69th minute of play forced Tumbez's goalkeeper Xizavier Escamilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zuzen Villalon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Martiniana in the 79th minute of the match. Xizavier Escamilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but James Aeta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 81 minute of play.
