Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zula's Aguirre Para started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in CD Naranjo's zone, Aguirre Para stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casado Labaja came out of the goal and Aguirre Para tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6thth minute of the game Aguirre Para who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Naranjo's Casado Labaja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, CD Naranjo's Jaime Pintor got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Aguirre Para shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casado Labaja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Mane Enriquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Naranjo's supporters rose to their feet, but Mane Enriquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramos Cespedes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Romulo Pumares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the CD Naranjo defense, Reyes Ulloa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casado Labaja. The CD Naranjo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casado Labaja should have stopped the shot. After 23 played minutes CD Naranjo got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Pumares. Casado Labaja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reyes Ulloa in the 25th minute of the match. Humberto Burset hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Félix Herbon's late challenge caught a CD Naranjo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Félix Herbon helped the player get up and apologised. Félix Herbon hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Aguirre Para had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mane Enriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Campos Angeles hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Romulo Pumares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Pumares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ramos Cespedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 59 minutes of play Zula's Félix Herbon was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Félix Herbon kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ramos Cespedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Pumares in the 62nd minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Campos Angeles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reyes Ulloa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casado Labaja having to interfere. Ramos Cespedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mane Enriquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zula's Ramos Cespedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Pumares in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zula's Rolando Alfonso got a free kick in the 74th minute. When CD Naranjo's Romulo Pumares in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zula's goalie prevented a goal. Zula's Reyes Ulloa got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CD Naranjo's Casado Labaja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aguirre Para in the 80th minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Zula's Reyes Ulloa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casado Labaja was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mane Enriquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Pintor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramos Cespedes having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
