Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stacio Villamayor kicked off to start the match. If Xayveon Arciniega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustin Carnero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Arvelo in the 10th minute. Stacio Villamayor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stacio Villamayor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Agustin Carnero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game José Marino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rambran FC's Cagua Varandalla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute José Marino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cagua Varandalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, José Marino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cagua Varandalla. Rambran FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Marino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After the first half CD Shushufindi were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Xayveon Arciniega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bustos Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Carnero having to interfere. Agustin Carnero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stacio Villamayor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stacio Villamayor struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Agustin Carnero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rambran FC. CD Shushufindi's Agustin Carnero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Arvelo in the 67th minute of play. Cagua Varandalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xayveon Arciniega in the 72nd minute of play. Xayveon Arciniega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cagua Varandalla having to interfere. José Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cagua Varandalla having to interfere. José Marino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cagua Varandalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Polla charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 85 played minutes CD Shushufindi got a freekick which was hit by Xayveon Arciniega. Agustin Carnero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Arvelo in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Shushufindi's goalkeeper Agustin Carnero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The CD Shushufindi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD Shushufindi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
