Xosepe Labastida showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Unai Sendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valiente Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Unai Sendin in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Xosepe Labastida dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marquez Amandi, 2-0. After having played for 23 minutes, Xosepe Labastida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palopamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xosepe Labastida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Palopamba's goal looked a bit too open when John Iturriaga came free, but Valiente Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valiente Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Unai Sendin, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Valiente Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Iturriaga in the 28th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, CD Manche's goalkeeper Marquez Amandi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xosepe Labastida. In the 36th match minute, Palopamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Logroño to maneuver through the defense. Jesus Pereceira struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Marquez Amandi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palopamba. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Xosepe Labastida in the 58th minute of play forced CD Manche's goalkeeper Marquez Amandi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Unai Sendin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palopamba's Valiente Viana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, CD Manche's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Pereceira came free, but Marquez Amandi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, John Iturriaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Manche's supporters rose to their feet, but John Iturriaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valiente Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute Xosepe Labastida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquez Amandi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marquez Amandi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xosepe Labastida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If John Iturriaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marquez Amandi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xosepe Labastida in the 89th minute of play. If Zayveon Tigero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CD Manche's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
