During this time UD Maspa's players had a chance to rest. When Esterilla Barreiros fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Falcon's protests and gave Esterilla Barreiros a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Falcon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Falcon's Cristian Melic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zxavian Rabel in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Falcon's goalkeeper Cristian Melic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Polo Orantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Zxavian Rabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Melic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zxavian Rabel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Melic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
