In the 19th minute Joffre Ajorbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Castillo Pecina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. UD Paquintza's Alex Guia got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ismael Burguete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ismael Burguete managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Gigantones's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Burguete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Alaiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariano Alaiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Burguete, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joffre Ajorbe to make the kick off. When Alex Guia came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the UD Paquintza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Guia couldn't finish the play. In the 54thth minute of the game Joffre Ajorbe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Gigantones's Castillo Pecina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zunbeltz Hortega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Castillo Pecina having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Alex Guia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Castillo Pecina. The goal made the score 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zunbeltz Hortega during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, UD Paquintza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zunbeltz Hortega to maneuver through the defense. Castillo Pecina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Guia in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, UD Gigantones's Ximeno Lance got a free kick in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, UD Paquintza's Joffre Ajorbe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Castillo Pecina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hidalgo Galnares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mariano Alaiz. UD Paquintza's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 89th minute Joffre Ajorbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Castillo Pecina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Burguete in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Alaiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Castillo Pecina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joffre Ajorbe, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The UD Gigantones supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching UD Paquintza's performance. The match ended with a win for UD Paquintza.
