Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Desiderio Badiola got the match started through his kick off. Desiderio Badiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Alcain having to interfere. Taday SC's Tenorio Carragal got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tenorio Carragals short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Celso Alcain to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 16th minute, Xzaver Jiron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Naranjito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Francisco Capell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taday SC's Desiderio Badiola got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Desiderio Badiola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Capell to make the kick off. A collision led to Taday SC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Carlos-Alberto Guadiana hit a great ball. Carlos Viñambre was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zeledon Diguja. The audience was convinced that Desiderio Badiola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celso Alcain was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. UD Naranjito's Celso Alcain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Badiola in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Taday SC's goalkeeper Carlos Viñambre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xzaver Jiron. Denis Canaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Carlos Viñambre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Carlos-Alberto Guadiana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xzaver Jiron charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xzaver Jiron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 78 minutes into the match, UD Naranjito's Xzaver Jiron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Viñambre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xzaver Jirons short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Carlos Viñambre to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Francisco Capell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Viñambre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, one of Taday SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Taday SC. When the match had been going on for 88 minutes, UD Naranjito's Zeledon Diguja got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Carlos Viñambre. Celso Alcain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos-Alberto Guadiana, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Zeledon Diguja hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Taday SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UD Naranjito were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
