After a rather tough play, Jigua's Zavier Bueres got a free kick in the 5th minute. Telmo Villacian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Hernainz in the 12th minute of the match. Zayvius Caunedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Villacian having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Kléber Oteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telmo Villacian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Hernainz in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jigua's goalkeeper Desiderio Barambio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Piliphe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zayvius Caunedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Zayvius Caunedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Telmo Villacian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Piliphe's goal looked a bit too open when Zayvius Caunedo came free, but Telmo Villacian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Piliphe's zone, Pedro Hernainz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Villacian came out of the goal and Pedro Hernainz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Telmo Villacian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zayvius Caunedo went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
