Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marco Riazos started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boris Tocalanza during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodrigo Villabedon hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lilan FC's zone, Marco Riazos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batista Adrales came out of the goal and Marco Riazos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th match minute, Lilan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venerando Abancens to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Rosario Maquiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ximeno Asteguieta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enrique Capitan. CD Paluguillo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Xulio Leicea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerson Oliveros charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerson Oliveros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 27 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Villabedon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Capitan. CD Paluguillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Villabedon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Enrique Capitan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Villabedon in the 36th minute. Rodrigo Villabedon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Capitan having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Xulio Leicea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Paluguillo and the Lilan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xulio Leicea hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Enrique Capitan made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Rodrigo Villabedon sent off a good shot on target. If Rodrigo Villabedon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victoriano Ludeña to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lilan FC booed when CD Paluguillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerson Oliveros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Capitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Ludeña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xulio Leicea hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Rubén Granelas short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Batista Adrales to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The attack was good, but when Rubén Granela in the 75th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Lilan FC's Batista Adrales proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Lilan FC from getting a goal against them. Rubén Granela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Batista Adrales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Paluguillo's Marco Riazos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Batista Adrales. That made the score 1-1 after 90 minutes of play. Rubén Granela might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Batista Adrales. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubén Granela ran back to his position shaking his head. After 95 played minutes Lilan FC got a freekick which was hit by Venerando Abancens. 96 minutes into the match, Lilan FC's goalkeeper Batista Adrales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubén Granela.
