Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leonardo Davalos got the match started through his kick off. Lajas's Leonardo Felpeto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Lajas from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute, Leonardo Davalos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lajas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Leonardo Felpeto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guerrón Bultes in the 10th minute of play. When Ramiro Alas fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Canchagua's protests and gave Ramiro Alas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lajas booed when UD Canchagua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Alas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Espinola Queralt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Loaces. UD Canchagua's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 17th minute Leonardo Davalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Loaces saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xicu Albizua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Loaces having to interfere. If Xicu Albizua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Espinola Queralt kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Leonardo Felpeto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guerrón Bultes in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of UD Canchagua booed when Lajas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xalvador Marsol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Eijo got free with Leonardo Felpeto in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guerrón Bultes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guerrón Bultes to make the kick off. Lajas's Leonardo Felpeto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Eijo in the 52nd minute of play. After 52 minutes, Xalvador Marsol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lajas and the UD Canchagua players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lajas's Xalvador Marsol got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Xicu Albizua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xicu Albizua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. David Loaces tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xicu Albizua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Loaces having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Eijo in the 81st minute of play forced Lajas's goalkeeper Leonardo Felpeto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lajas's zone, Guerrón Bultes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Felpeto came out of the goal and Guerrón Bultes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Loaces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Davalos in the 87th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Lajas got a freekick which was hit by Xalvador Marsol. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricio Valbas during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of UD Canchagua booed when Lajas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Valbas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Felpeto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guerrón Bultes in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lajas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
