Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ibarra Zaitegui took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, UD Pillig's Xizavier Mendigoitia got a free kick in the 4th minute. UD Pillig's Gonzalo Madinabeitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Huguet in the 7th minute of play. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Hector-Luis Sequeiros sped through Bacundo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Bretal. UD Pillig's Xizavier Mendigoitia got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, UD Pillig's goal looked a bit too open when Ibarra Zaitegui came free, but Gonzalo Madinabeitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Ibarra Zaitegui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bacundo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ibarra Zaitegui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonzalo Madinabeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ibarra Zaitegui, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Bacundo's goalkeeper Bruno Bretal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector-Luis Sequeiros. Bruno Bretal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gilmar Puget. Ibarra Zaitegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Madinabeitia having to interfere. In the 39th minute, UD Pillig's Marcelo Callergos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Bretal. Bruno Bretal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Fernandez Cembrana hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 53rd minute Marcelo Callergos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Bretal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ibarra Zaitegui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacundo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ibarra Zaitegui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Madinabeitia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marcelo Callergos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of UD Pillig booed when Bacundo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain España didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Bretal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Callergos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xizavier Mendigoitia during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xizavier Mendigoitia hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Xizavier Mendigoitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by UD Pillig's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Efrain España was slow to take the kick. During this time Bacundo's players had a chance to rest. Agustín Albear hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Efrain España took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gonzalo Madinabeitia. UD Pillig's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Hector-Luis Sequeiros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bruno Bretal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gonzalo Madinabeitia made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Jaime Huguet sent off a good shot on target. Bacundo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
