Paco Bertiz hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Efrain España sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tanchiguo FC's Freddy Fuica didn't even have to move. After having played for 9 minutes, Xeromo Vadillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tanchiguo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xeromo Vadillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Bretal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Guezmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Bretal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Guezmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute, Ibarra Zaitegui fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arlín Rebellon during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 minutes, Vladimiro Reoyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tanchiguo FC and the Bacundo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Vladimiro Reoyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bacundo's Efrain España couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tanchiguo FC. 25 minutes into the match, Tanchiguo FC's Xeromo Vadillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Bretal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute Xeromo Vadillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Bretal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jaime Huguet came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Bacundo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Huguet couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Tanchiguo FC's De-la-Cruz Villapadierna got a free kick in the 30th minute. The supporters of Bacundo booed when Tanchiguo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paco Bertiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanchiguo FC's Freddy Fuica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Tanchiguo FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Duarte Guezmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tanchiguo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Guezmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Bretal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Bretal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Guezmes in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Tanchiguo FC's zone, Ibarra Zaitegui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Fuica came out of the goal and Ibarra Zaitegui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xeromo Vadillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bacundo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! With a little luck, Bacundo's Bruno Bretal got control of the ball when Xeromo Vadillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xeromo Vadillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Bretal having to interfere. In the 91st minute Jaime Huguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Fuica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Jaime Huguet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despite being the better team, Bacundo failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
