Roque Becerro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ibarra Zaitegui in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Botas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Motaima SC's Humberto Botas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Huguet in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Motaima SC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Augusto Rejon hit a great ball. Ibarra Zaitegui struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Humberto Botas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacundo. 13 minutes into the match, Bacundo's goal looked a bit too open when León Ventosa came free, but Bruno Bretal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Motaima SC's Tonio Barruso in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bacundo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute of the match Xusto Sudupe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Botas skillfully saved the ball. Hernando Bulnes's late challenge caught a Bacundo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Texeira Arieta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Texeira Arieta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Texeira Arieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Bretal having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ibarra Zaitegui made a kick off. With a little luck, Bacundo's Bruno Bretal got control of the ball when Texeira Arieta tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Fernandez Cembrana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bacundo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Motaima SC the free kick. In the 54th minute, Fernandez Cembrana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ibarra Zaitegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bacundo's Jaime Huguet got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Texeira Arieta got free with Bruno Bretal in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Bacundo's goalkeeper Bruno Bretal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Texeira Arieta. Humberto Botas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ibarra Zaitegui in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Bacundo getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Efrain España hit a great ball. Bruno Bretal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from León Ventosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Jaime Huguet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Motaima SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ibarra Zaitegui came free, but Humberto Botas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Huguet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Humberto Botas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Motaima SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bacundo.
