Tyrone Malta succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 10th playminute. In the 25th minute, Hector-Luis Lodeña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zuevlan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 29 played minutes CD Chican got a freekick which was hit by Peter Lopez. After 30 played minutes, Zuevlan's Hector-Luis Lodeña shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zilar Copeiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zuevlan reached it. Tyrone Malta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martinez Tristan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Tyrone Malta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Chican's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tyrone Malta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zuevlan's Rey Ural got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, CD Chican was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Lopez to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes, Zuevlan's Hector-Luis Lodeña shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zilar Copeiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
