If Xeromo Capitillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Mario Acitores's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Puga was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Roman Güell made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Elizondo. UD Puchalitola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. UD Puchalitola's Mario Acitores got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Lata got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Villagra. Mario Acitores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xeromo Capitillo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Puga saved Lata from getting behind. UD Puchalitola's Virgilio Elizondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save UD Puchalitola from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute, Vernaza Falguera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Flavio Garagorri came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the UD Puchalitola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Garagorri couldn't finish the play. Lata's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
