Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mauricio Irisarri took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mauricio Irisarri's late challenge caught a Borrero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Irisarri helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes CD Chimbucta got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Irisarri. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Garibay in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umea Mercadillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute, Emiliano Mazarredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Garibay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Umea Mercadillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, CD Chimbucta's goal looked a bit too open when Cruz Tenorio came free, but Umea Mercadillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Borrero's Santiago Herrea got a free kick in the 20th minute. CD Chimbucta's Urtsua Senabres couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Borrero. CD Chimbucta's Mauricio Irisarri got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of CD Chimbucta booed when Borrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Pedriza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borrero's Aguirre Alvaredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Borrero from getting a goal against them. If Daniel Garibay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, Mauricio Irisarri lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Aguirre Alvaredo. Ysmael Castañondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Aguirre Alvaredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Mauricio Irisarri fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in CD Chimbucta's zone, Daniel Garibay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Umea Mercadillo came out of the goal and Daniel Garibay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aguirre Alvaredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Irisarri in the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cruz Tenorio to strike the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Irisarri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Mauricio Irisarri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Chimbucta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ysmael Castañondo scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aguirre Alvaredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Borrero's zone, Ysmael Castañondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aguirre Alvaredo came out of the goal and Ysmael Castañondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Daniel Garibay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cruz Tenorio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Umea Mercadillo was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. 83 minutes into the match, Daniel Garibay notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of CD Chimbucta's Umea Mercadillo. Umea Mercadillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 87 minutes in the game, Cruz Tenorio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Umea Mercadillo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ysmael Castañondo in the 93rd minute of play forced Borrero's goalkeeper Aguirre Alvaredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
