Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Urrutia Abeijon in the 9th minute of play forced Vera's goalkeeper Wilfredo Portocarrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gomez Alberca kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Wilfredo Portocarrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Feliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Conferencia booed when Vera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xulian Lape didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Elvis Poves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vera's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvis Poves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramírez Enestrosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elvis Poves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ramírez Enestrosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Portocarrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Feliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Portocarrero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Feliz's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 34th minute Vera were awarded a corner. Ubendu Chamochin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Vera's Orfilio Villagomez getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Vera's Elvis Poves in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Conferencia's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urrutia Abeijon in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfredo Portocarrero saved Vera from getting behind. Xosepe Pestaña scored 1-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramírez Enestrosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Feliz got free with Wilfredo Portocarrero in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the match, Vera's goalkeeper Wilfredo Portocarrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Feliz. After having played for 64 minutes, Elvis Poves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvis Poves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramírez Enestrosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xosepe Pestaña in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Vera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xulian Lape to maneuver through the defense. When Urrutia Abeijon came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Conferencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urrutia Abeijon couldn't finish the play. Leon Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Portocarrero having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Feliz got free with Wilfredo Portocarrero in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodney Arada might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilfredo Portocarrero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodney Arada ran back to his position shaking his head. Urrutia Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Portocarrero having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Vera got a freekick which was hit by Xulian Lape. Vera's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
