With an all-out effort, UD Proveduria's Marcos Tobia threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xavon Ciscal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Guerrón Cordovilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Desiderio Cañucar to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to UD Proveduria getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Dannes Hudobro hit a great ball. Fleitas Villoria made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Noriega Cela sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, UD Proveduria's Dannes Hudobro got a free kick in the 54th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Sicalpa's goal looked a bit too open when Guerrón Cordovilla came free, but Marcos Tobia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes Sicalpa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valentin Orallo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Valentin Orallo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcos Tobia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Guerrón Cordovilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavon Ciscal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Tobia having to make a save. In the 70th minute Guerrón Cordovilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Tobia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desiderio Cañucar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Fleitas Villoria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in UD Proveduria's zone, Noriega Cela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fleitas Villoria came out of the goal and Noriega Cela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Cañucar in the 75th minute of play forced UD Proveduria's goalkeeper Fleitas Villoria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes Sicalpa got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Cañucar. Marcos Tobia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guerrón Cordovilla in the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, González Iscar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guerrón Cordovilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xanti Boladeras kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sicalpa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
