In the 9th minute UD Proveduria were awarded a corner. Valentin Orallo went to the cornerflag to take it. Xurxo Goulo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Guerrón Cordovilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Yugueros having to interfere. Amador Yugueros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guerrón Cordovilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cani FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Fidel Juez hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cani FC's zone, Guerrón Cordovilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Yugueros came out of the goal and Guerrón Cordovilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ignacio Vendrell fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Proveduria's protests and gave Ignacio Vendrell a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to UD Proveduria getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ignacio Vendrell hit a great ball. A hard shot 25 in the game by Jose-Antonio Moran from a close distance when the talented Fleitas Villoria managed to make a qualified save. UD Proveduria's players were relieved. Xavon Ciscal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Amador Yugueros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Vedillo Talavera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Yugueros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xurxo Goulo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. UD Proveduria's Guerrón Cordovilla got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yader Parada made a kick off. Vedillo Talavera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Yugueros having to interfere. When Jose-Antonio Moran came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Cani FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose-Antonio Moran couldn't finish the play. UD Proveduria's Fleitas Villoria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose-Antonio Moran in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Jose-Antonio Moran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fleitas Villoria. UD Proveduria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose-Antonio Moran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Guerrón Cordovilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Yugueros having to interfere. Xavon Ciscal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cani FC's Amador Yugueros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Cani FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Cani FC's Xurxo Goulo got a free kick in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose-Antonio Moran in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fleitas Villoria saved UD Proveduria from getting behind. In the 89th minute Xavon Ciscal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Yugueros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guerrón Cordovilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amador Yugueros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. After 97 minutes, Vedillo Talavera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Proveduria and the Cani FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vedillo Talavera kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
